Morgan Harris, Ed.S, LPC-S, RPT, BC-TMH

Morgan Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and Board-Certified in Telemental Health Counseling (BC-TMH). She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mississippi, her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Auburn University, and a post-master’s degree in play therapy from the University of Mississippi.

Morgan began her career in community mental health, serving both children and adults throughout the Jackson Metro area. She now specializes in working with preteens, adolescents, and adults, bringing the same level of interest, experience, and commitment to each stage of life.

Morgan supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, attention difficulties, anger, self-esteem concerns, relationship and communication challenges, attachment concerns, substance use, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and major life transitions. Her approach is individualized, collaborative, and focused on helping each client develop greater understanding, healthier coping skills, and meaningful, lasting change.

When working with preteens and adolescents, Morgan often incorporates family therapy and collaboration with parents or guardians. She believes young people make the strongest progress when communication and understanding improve throughout the family system.

In her work with adults, Morgan provides a supportive and practical space to explore current challenges, recognize patterns, strengthen relationships, and develop tools that fit each client’s needs and goals. She values focused, purposeful therapy while also recognizing that genuine growth takes trust, patience, and connection.

Morgan is actively involved in professional and community organizations dedicated to improving the lives of others in the Central Mississippi area. She has served the Mississippi Association for Play Therapy as a board member, president-elect, and president for two years. She is also an active member of the Association for Play Therapy and regularly participates in advanced training to remain informed about current research and effective counseling practices.

As an experienced supervisor, Morgan is passionate about helping emerging counselors grow personally and professionally. She also provides consultation to fellow clinicians.
